How would it change the teenage years of a girl to have mentors, who have walked the path before her, to guide her with love and wisdom into adolescence? The journey of self-discover builds confidence and clarity for emerging young women. Becoming a Young Woman offers a unique opportunity to celebrate and honor the changes of this time in a girl's life. Connecting her hand-to-hand with a long line of women before her, she is welcomed into the larger community with a fuller understanding of the inherent gifts of womanhood. This is the beginning of her claiming her power. This group of 10 middle school girls (ages 12 - 14) will explore what it means to step out of childhood and into young womanhood with the guidance and support of two fabulous female mentors. The group will spend a week at a moonlodge; engaging in a rite of passage experience to celebrate the conscious step into young womanhood. Read more on our website.
