Dianne G. Brause has been involved in the communities movement since the mid-1970s, when she lived and worked in a communal retreat center and attended the quarterly gatherings of the New England Network of Light. She wrote a vision of a future intentional community as part of her M.A. program with Beacon College. She later cofounded an intentional community in Oregon and lived and worked there for almost 20 years. Currently, she is working toward her Ph.D. in Wisdom Studies at Wisdom University and hopes to become a traveling “Elder” in the US and abroad.
